"GOING TO WIMBLEDON"... just kidding. Saturday, June 29th
So on Saturday we woke up super early with every intention of spending the day on the lawn at Wimbledon. We were finally ready about to walk out the door at 9 am and our roomates called us to say there was a 10 hour que (line) to just enter the lawn so we opted to not go. Our friend and SK sister, Emily, met us at our flat with her brother and we had the best day exploring London. We went to Chelsea to find the house that Annie Parker lives at in "the Parent Trap." Well after some interesting detours on the tube we found the house!!! Minor trespassing happened for some necessary pictures but its fine, we didn't get caught. We then had lunch at a cute cafe in Chelsea. I had yummy pastries and sat in the sun... a rare treat in London (the sun not the pastries). After Chelsea we headed over to the Waldorf hotel to meet up with Emily's Parents where we went to a very culturally enriching dinner. I ate duck, raised pig cheek, and many other really odd foods... when in London! After dinner we headed back to the club level of the Waldorf for drinks, and then hit some of the pubs in covent garden. That night we had the privilege of having a sleepover at the Waldorf with our friend and it was so fun!!
