Saturday, June 8th

Saturday was an action packed filled day. We started the day off with a bus tour of London. We saw so many amazing things but it was hard to stop and appreciate them as we went driving by. We saw St. Paul's Cathedral, Trafalgar Square, the Tower of London, Big Ben, the London Eye, and our tour ended at WestMinster Abbey. We then got out and had another tour guide meet us to give us a guided tour of the Abbey. We learned a lot about the history of the monarchs in London, as well as the people responsible for building the Abbey. Unfortunately we couldn't take pictures inside but it was an amazing piece of architecture and so cool to see how old yet beautiful the building is. One thing that surprised me is the amount of people buried in there. Every King, Queen, and some very important people are buried in tombs or in the ground underneath the abbey. My favorite part was walking down the isle where I saw Kate walk during the Royal Wedding (such a girl.) That night we went to a night club called Apres. It was funny to see how people dress and dance differently here. The club played all American music though so we felt right at home.
The London Bridge!! (Totally thought of the Fergie song when we saw it)
